David came to Western Australia in 1982 and later bought Caversham Wildlife Park, with his wife, in 1988. David restarted the Park and each year it has grown.

David instigated and assisted in the design and building of the new Park within Whiteman Park. The move was in 2003. David has built the business up to employing between 50 and 60 and having 300,000 patrons per year.

David lives in the Valley and is passionate about it. David promotes the Valley on his overseas sales trips throughout Asia and Europe.
